Manchester United coach made five substitutions in the game after bringing in Luke Shaw to replace Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire to replace Martinez, McTominay in for Casemiro, Bruno for Antony, and finally Rashford for Garnacho.
Manchester United failed to find the back of the net in the early start of the game after creating so many chances but not until the 44t minute of the game when Diogo Dalot was able to convert Eriksen’s assist and the Red Devils ended the first with a win.
Just 65th minutes into the game, Manchester United was able to double their lead with a goal from Marcus Rashford, assisted by Luke Shaw and the game was sealed by Ronaldo in the 81st minute of the game to record 701 goals in his football career.
Manchester United will be playing the group leader Real Sociedad in their final game of the group stage with both teams having 12 and 15 points respectively.
