Manchester United 2 vs 1 Liverpool – players rating as Ten Hag team secure first point

Manchester United welcome Liverpool at Old Trafford in the English Premier League Matchday 3 on Monday 22nd August 2022 by 18:00pm WAT with more than 30,000 people in attendance.

Both clubs have suffered a bad season starting with Ten Hag losing his opening two matches against Brighton and Brentford and Klopp’s side drawing their last two matches against Fulham and Crystal Palace.

4. Martinez ( 9 ) – The former Ajax player was superb throughout the game both in blocking shots and saving after he help Manchester United prevent Fernandes shot that was directed towards the goal post.
5. Malacia ( 9 ) – Many called him a beast of the game due to his aggressiveness on the game and how he put a stop to Salah attacking skills. He contributed to Manchester United’s first goal.
6. McTominay ( 7 ) – The Scottish international played the defensive role like neva before this current season with his aggression and composition during the game very great with did not give Liverpool player any chance to take possession of the center.
7. Eriksen ( 8 ) – Manchester United’s new signing was at his best so far against Liverpool with his passes and strength to keep the Red Devils from keeping possession of the ball.
8. Bruno Fernandes ( 9 ) – Duo He started poorly, But the Manchester United captain was everywhere on the pitch marking the ball like never before and contributed heavily to the attacking pressure on the Liverpool defenders.
9. Elenge ( 7 ) – Ten Hag handled the youngster his first starting opportunity and He did very well and provided an assist to Jadon Sancho for the first goal of the game.
10. Jadon Sancho ( 8 ) – The England international was the first to open the net for Manchester United after converting Elenga’s pass to a goal during the first half of the game.
11. Rashford ( 8 ) – Manchester United point-man scored his first goal of the season during the second half of the game and was talented on his display against Liverpool.
